Final change to Movie Magazine
Theses are some changes I made to my movie magazine due to teacher and target audience feedback. I added a black corner tab which is a common feature in a movie magazine. I added a yellow banner across the top which stood out with the black font on it.

I added white writing onto the corner tab which stood out on the black background. It was a competition I put on the tab because before i hadn't included one. I also moved the barcode down to the bottom right and the puff over the the right. I moved the title of the movie up and slanted the "exclusive" as I thought it looked better.
I added a reel to the bottom of the page and added more contents to it. By adding a reel it made it look more like a movie magazine. I added a red plus sign above it because there was more content in the reel, I added the Facebook logo because I had no social media symbols added before
Final movie poster
With the improvements recommended by my teacher I decided to make the quote bigger and make the font stand out more. I also added in an Instagram logo alongside the twitter icon. I moved the source of the quote to the bottom of it so it could be seen easier and I relined the quote to make it easier to read. I changed the font, size and colour of the actresses names. I chose red as it fitted in with my genre and stood out, I chose larger, bold writing so they would be seen easier.

Movie poster 2 photo construction
This is another option for my movie poster.....
1. This is my original photo without any editing. I took the idea from the conjuring movie poster
2. This is the start of the editing process of the picture. I again used the app on my phone as it was less time consuming and much easier to work with
3. I added effects to the photo to make it stand out and to make it look more professional. The Misty effect gave the picture the shadow effect around the edge which added a spooky element.
4. I put the Exposure up to make the image of the girl on the swing more clearer.
5. I also added the Vibrance effect which added a tint of colour and a spooky element.

Movie poster 1
This is step by step putting together of my poster...
I added the title and the tag line underneath. This is took from the teaser trailer and will be used throughout
I added the billing block underneath to make it look like a real movie poster and follows the codes and conventions
This is the first draft of my movie poster that I created on Adobe Photoshop
Movie poster construction
This is the apps I used to edit my photos for my movie poster. I found these apps very handy and easier to use than the Photoshop on the pc.
This is the process of editing the photo for my first draft of my movie poster
This is the image without any editing or filters
I added "orton" effect to it as I though this stood out and added a spooky element to the photo.
I started editing the image to make it look as polished and professional as possible so I made the image slightly sharper.
I put the "exposure" up on the image as I thought it made a cool effect and made it a bit brighter.
I also put the "shadow" on the photo up as I think shadows add a more spooky effect.
I made the vibrancy higher to make the image brighter and more vibrant. This fits in with my genre
This is the final image for my movie poster (first draft)
These are cliché horror movie posters so I wanted my first draft to follow the codes and conventions of a real horror poster.
Final Draft of Teaser Trailer
I changed the editing in some scenes to fast paced. This is a typical code and convention for a horror trailer.
I added some inter titles in. This makes the trailer more realistic and creepy
I added creepy music to the end of the teaser. This sets the teaser off and gets the target audience excited to watch the movie
I added music to the scenes where there was no sound. This added to the atmospheric mood I wanted to create.
This is my final teaser trailer
